Circular Walk Path and Railing
The path of the Circular Walk goes all around the top of Mount Austin and is cut into the hillside in places such as this. The slopes have been stabilized with concrete and are quite safe and are now well overgrown with lichens, creepers and small ferns and the like.
The railings in faux Victorian style are well maintained as are the matching lamp posts making this a very safe place for a walk even with small children. There is no danger of them accidentally slipping down any of the steep slopes. The path itself is well paved solid concrete and a smooth suffice for those not steady on their feet or using wheels. In general the path is accessible to wheelchairs, buggies and prams.
