Photo Galleries of Victoria Peak
Not only the best place in Hong Kong to view Victoria Harbour, but also full of interesting scenic spots as well, The Peak is a favoured destination for every shutter bug from professional photographers to kids with toy cameras.
Here are some of the galleries we have collected showing both iconic images and scenes of and from The Peak, as well as ones that guide you through lesser known aspects of our district. From skyscrapers to caterpillars, from restaurants to lawns, there is truly something for every photographer here on Victoria Peak.
Overview of The Peak
From the historic tramway, through the modern shopping arcades, to quite country walks, clean children's playgrounds, green public lawns, shrubs and butterflies and always of course amazing views of the harbour and the south China seas.
Here are some of the sights that you will around Victoria Peak!
Circular Walk
The Circular Walk on Victoria Peak is, not surprisingly, a walk that is a circular route which comes back to it's origin. This makes it a perfect chance to see some of the many wonderful views from The Peak, while at the same time still coming back to the Peak Tower and it's facilities.
Despite the proximity to the city of Hong Kong this is very much a walk for those who enjoy the outdoors, fresh air, walking and viewing the trees, shrubs and small wildlife that lives on the Peak. It is therefore also known sometimes as the Tree Walk and it passes by many fine examples of native Hong Kong trees.
Peak Garden and Playground
Originally the gardens and grounds of the Governor of Hong Kong's Summer Residence, "Mountain Lodge" these formal European grounds are now open to the public and are managed by the government.
In the garden you will find winding paths and open green lawns interspersed with park benches, pagodas and classic Victorian garden fittings such as wrought iron railings.
