Mount Austin Playground: A Beautiful Park Near The Peak
The flora and fauna in Mount Austin Playground is only one of the features of this green oasis, which makes it popular with both tourists and the local residents in this affluent residential area of Hong Kong.
You can get to the playground using the 15B bus, a tram or a taxi and then possibly visit Victoria Garden too and enjoy the amazing bird’s eye, panoramic views over Hong Kong. Victoria Garden is just a short walk from the playground, but to get from the Tram Terminus on Findlay Road to the playground the road is quite steep in places so if you’re planning on walking, you do need to be able-bodied.
Once you reach the playground you can enjoy the well-kept gardens and calm relaxing atmosphere or wander around the meandering pathways, which are lined with gaslights, benches and pagodas. Mount Austin Playground is very popular with families because it’s a great place for the kids to run around and play.
