The Signs To Get To Victoria Garden Are Very Clear
The signs to Victoria Peak Garden are very clear along Mount Austin Road which means that knowing you are heading in the right direction shouldn’t be an issue during your hike. When you exit from the Tram Terminal at the bottom of Mount Austin Road, you will see the gardens clearly sign posted from the signs on the left-hand side.
Victoria Peak Garden is very popular with both tourists and residents in Hong Kong because of its landscaped gardens and wonderful views over Victoria Harbour. This Chinese-style garden is also quite unique in Hong Kong because, unlike many parks, they do allow pets too. You can find the garden by following the signs along Mount Austin Road.
When you get to the bottom of Mount Austin Road just continue hiking towards to peak and the garden is on the way to the Victoria Peak but be aware that the road has some sharp bends and does get quite steep in places so be ready for a good workout!
The summit of Victoria Peak isn’t actually accessible to the public but there is a viewing deck, which has coin-operated telescopes and the surrounding parks and gardens are very popular with tourists and local residents.
