Restaurants on Victoria Peak

There are a great many places to eat on The Peak, from fancy restaurants to simple cafes, main located both in the two main buildings beside the peak tram upper terminus.

In the Peak Tower, which houses the tram terminus, are a range of restaurants some of which have great views over the Victoria Harbour, so you can combine dining with viewing.  Although the restaurants do change over time as elsewhere in Hong Kong there are a few famous ones which have existed for some time and developed good reputations.

Good for Families with kids

Wildfire - pizzabar & grill (website) is now the best choice for Peak dining with children. With pizza, pasta and grilled meats what is not to love? Read Natasha's experince of eating on Victoria Peak and how her toddler enjoyed the food there.

Cafe Deco used to have the best views but is now closed.  They had a particularly kid-friendly and were a good choice if you are travelling with kids.

Historic

The oldest restaurant / cafe on the Peak is probably the Peak Cafe (now Peak Lookout). The Peak Cafe started in 1947 and served many many customers for over 50 years.  In 2001, restaurant owner changed.  It was renovated to an even more elegant style while keeping some of the old heritage feeling.

Picnics

There are great choices for picnics within a few minutes walk of the commercial centre.  And you can buy supplies for your picnic in one of the two major supermarkets; Park'N'Shop in the Peak Galleria, or Marketplace by Jason at 100 Peak Road.

 

FOOD AND DINING

While often visited for the view the visitor should not forget that The Peak encompasses a wide range of dining options, from the casual to the sophisticated.  Within The Peak area are examples of many of Hong Kong's most authentic and distinctive styles, as well as international choices to fit all palates and budgets.
