Victoria Peak Gardens Are Popular With Locals And Tourists

The natural wonders of Victoria Peak Gardens, which are a series of well-manicured lawns surround by natural woodlands with lovingly planted trees and flowers complimented by Victorian-styled gazebos and wooden picnic benches make a wonderful day out in Hong Kong.

The peak and peak gardens are popular with nature lovers, locals and tourists who what to experience the views over Hong Kong’s world famous Victoria Harbour, Kowloon and Central or explore the many nature trails around Mount Victoria and the Peak Gardens. The peak boasts the highest viewpoint on Hong Kong Island at an impressive 552m or 1811 feet.

Getting to the Peak Gardens and The Peak is really straightforward too. You could jump in a taxi, hop on the 15 bus, hike up Mount Austin Road or to really appreciate the world-class views over Hong Kong you could use the Peak Tram which leaves from the lower Peak Tran Terminus on Garden Road in Central. The Peak Tram is particularly popular with tourists as it is the steepest funicular railway in the world as well as being over 100 years old, which makes using the Peak Tram a wonderful way to get up to the peak especially if you are travelling with children.
